Terbo Construction has been in business for more than 20 years and has done commercial remodeling and new construction projects for some of the largest companies in the Tampa Bay area. A large portion of Terbo’s work is medical remodeling and new construction.

Health Care Remodeling and New Construction

Baycare Health Systems including Morton Plant Mease hospitals are Terbo Construction’s largest and oldest client. Terbo started the first commercial remodeling project with Morton Plant Mease Hospital in 1988 and Terbo continues to work with Morton Plant Mease hospitals today.

AHCA Specialists

Medical construction has very demanding standards which are higher than most local building codes. The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, AHCA, inspects and approves medical construction in Florida. The Terbo management team regularly attends AHCA training sessions and Terbo has never failed an AHCA inspection.

Commercial and Retails Remodeling and New Construction

Terbo also has extensive experience in commercial and retail construction. Some of these clients include the Florida Aquarium; Big Brothers, Big Sisters; Pinellas County Housing Authority; Family Resources; the Dunedin Country Club; Warren’s Florist & Gift Gallery; Honeymoon Island State Park, the City of Oldsmar; Embassy Suite Hotels and Florida Sports and Orthopedics.

Experienced Construction Staff

Terbo has a complete in-house staff including estimators and six job superintendents. The Terbo staff can provide a wealth of experience for your project. Here is information about some of the key players at the Terbo Group.

Terry Hodge is President of Terbo Group contractors and has more than 30 years of construction experience with more than two decades in west Florida and Tampa Bay. Terry earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee. During the span of Terry’s successful career, he has spent several years in architectural projects where he developed drawings for many different types of clients. He has held several prestigious positions such as Director of Construction and Manager of Construction & Development for well-known developers.

Jeff Lacy is the Vice President of Operations with more than eight years at Terbo. Jeff responsible includes accurate takeoff, estimating, budgeting, purchasing and business administration. Jeff has a Bachelors Degree from Florida State University.

Zachary Anderson is a site superintendent and has worked in similar supervisory position for more than ten years. He earned an Associate Degree in Business Management from Five Towns College in Dix Hill, NY.

Raymond Cunningham is an equipment maintenance supervisor with more than 32 years experience in construction with organization like the City of Clearwater and Dunedin Country Club.

Ray Greenlee is a project superintendent and has worked in the construction industry for more than 20 years in Pinellas County.

Kenny Kubeck is a site superintendent and has almost 20 years in the construction industry. Kenny attended St. Petersburg College and Florida State University.

Jason Lacy is the sales and project manager for Southstar Doors, part of the Terbo Group. Jason has worked in sales for several national companies and has a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University.

Tim A. Meacham is a project manger with 28 yrs experience in the commercial subcontracting business. He has an AA Degree Business Administration from Hillsborough Community College and a BS in Business Management from Florida State University. He is also State of Florida Certified Specialty Contractor.

Jack Tremblay is a project manger and estimator. Jack estimates costs of project though blueprints, site visits and discussions with clients. He manages projects from onset to final completion. Jack has held a variety of management and supervisory jobs since 1996. He attended St. Petersburg College with certification in architectural drawing.

Allen Wiggins is a project superintendent with more than 22 years in the construction industry and has worked with Huettig Electric, Automation Packaging, Wise Corporation and Terbo.
